Wilton LWV Hosts Sen. Chris Murphy At Opening Lunch

WILTON, Conn. – U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) will be the guest speaker for the Wilton League of Women Voters as it holds its opening meeting and lunch on Thursday, Oct. 2, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Rolling Hills Country Club, 333 Hurlbutt St.

The program includes a brief business meeting and lunch, followed by Murphy’s presentation, "Update from Washington, D.C."

Murphy was elected to the Senate in 2012, and serves on the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, the Foreign Relations Committee and the Joint Economic Committee.

The Wilton League’s event is open to members, friends of the league and the public for $35. Advance reservations are required. A reservation form is available here.
