Jana Bertkau, Becky Bunnell and Debbie Hunsberger, co-chairs of the Wilton Go Green Festival, are making final preparations for the event scheduled for Sunday, May 1, from 11a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Wilton Town Green. The festival will feature a giant Earth balloon as well as exhibits, food and informative lectures. Wilton resident Arthur Lipner and his Eclectic Wilton Steel Band will perform, and Wilton High School teacher Jim Lucey along with Dave Havens from St. Luke’s School will lead a tour of the Norwalk River. Gini Frank Fischer , a Wilton artist, is holding her first solo art exhibit at the Bartlett Arboretum's Visitor Center Gallery in Stamford. The opening reception is scheduled for Sunday, May 1, from 2 to 5 p.m. For more details, visit www.ginifischer.com .

Congratulations to the Wilton High School students who received awards for their performance on the National Latin Exam! Gold Medalists are James Austin Schaefer, Peter Jensen , Joshua Olin and Paige Wallace . Silver Medal winners include Bryan Caswell , Alexander Bendix , Ryan Cross , Liam Cunningham , Tristan Haas, Margaret Hoch , Roger Hueglin , Michael Kaelin , Gaston Keiley and Dominic Schefers .
