"I can communicate with those on the other side of the spirit realm," she said. "Everything I do is to help people heal. I am a healer."

The Long Island native - "I guess that's where all the mediums are from" she joked -- moved with her family to Wilton 16 years ago. Raimondi grew up in a Catholic family and said she has always had the ability to connect with the spirit realm.

"My earliest memory was telling my family there were angels on the ceiling," she said, guessing she was about 3 years old.

Raimondi earned a bachelor of arts in psychology from New York University and an MBA from City College and then worked for many years with a law firm running the business part of the company. That career taught her a lot - manly that she didn't want to continue doing it, she said with a laugh.

"It was quite a learning experience. I learned exactly what I didn't want to do with my life."

It wasn't until about 10 years ago, with the urging of her friends, that she went public with her gift.

Raimondi meets with people in her office in Wilton and also Skypes with other clients who cannot make it to Wilton and with those in foreign countries. She also has an office in Manhattan.

"The crux of what I am doing is really connecting people to who they love and helping them with their soul journey. I bring people down to their souls - the very thing that most of us ignore."

During the one-hour sessions with her clients, Raimondi said that there are visits from the spirits, who can be anyone from a family member or a friend to someone else they have a connection with.

But she said that she doesn't predict the future.

"They communicate through me, whether it is a spirit guide or a loved one. Sometimes I can't recognize who is coming through me they don;t tell me their names. Sometimes they tell me their name but it is the letter of the name," Raimondi said. "I'm the medium I am the in between I have to be able to translate it in a way that makes sense for the person who sits across for me."

A Catholic who prays the Rosary every day, Raimondi said she is not accepted by the church and attends a high Episcopal church because she said it is the closest denomination to Roman Catholicism.

She is also a certified hypnotherapist, grief counselor, spiritual counselor, Reiki master, Chios master, and a shamanic and meditation facilitator.

Raimondi has written two books: "Talking to the Dead in Suburbia - An Ordinary Woman with an Extraordinary Gift," published in 2009, and "One with the Drum - A Shamanic Journey to the Soul," that was written in 2011.

Raimondo said she cannot offer solutions to her clients. The answer is up to them, she said.

"It's up to the person to do what they want to do I am just the messenger."
