A small, white, Maltese dog bit a man shopping in CVS on Saturday, police say.
The man suffered two small puncture wounds on the top his finger after reaching to pet the pooch.
Authorities later learned the dog was not licensed and did not have a current rabies vaccine, the police report said. The dog was taken into custody and quarantined for 14 days. The pet owner, a resident of Hubbard Road, was given a written warning for failure to license and vaccinate the dog.
