WILTON, Conn. -- America's No. 1 movie, "Cowboys and Aliens," and the Town of Wilton have a lot in common.

Well, they have one thing in common: Paul Dano.

Dano, who grew up in town and graduated from Wilton High School in 2002, stars as Percy Dolarhyde, the son of Harrison Ford's character, in "Cowboys and Aliens."

According to Blu-ray , the movie, which opened Friday, earned $36.4 million during its first weekend.

Directed by Jon Favreau, "Cowboys and Aliens" blends the sci-fi and Western genres. It is based on Scott Mitchell Rosenberg's 2006 graphic novel of the same name.
