Connecticut DOT Begins Repaving On Route 53 In Wilton

WILTON, Conn. -- Beginning Tuesday, the Connecticut Department Of Transportation will be paving Route 53 (Chestnut Hill Road) between the Norwalk Town line and Route 106 (Cedar Road) in Wilton.

The paving dates are July 26 to 28 with three days of paving expected on the Wilton side. The hours will be from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily and will impact traffic flow.

Police officers and certified flaggers will be used for traffic direction. The DOT advises to use an alternate route during that period.
