Crash Cleared From Westbound I-84 In Danbury

Update: DANBURY, Conn. -- The crash on I-84 has been cleared and traffic is beginning to clear.

Original story: DANBURY, Conn. -- A two-vehicle crash is blocking two lanes of I-84 west in Danbury on Wednesday morning, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

The accident, which was reported at 7:40 a.m., is between Exit 5 and 4. The right and center lanes are closed in the area. Traffic was slowing back to Exit 9.

It was not known how long it would take to clear.
