Dozens Sickened In Nine States After Salmonella Outbreak

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A salmonella outbreak that has afflicted 53 people in nine different states could be linked to raw tuna, according to NBC News.

California is reporting 31 cases, but Arizona, Illinois, Mississippi, New Mexico, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin have also reported cases, NBC News reported. 

The source of the outbreak has not been confirmed, but officials have said most of the victims have reported eating raw tuna in sushi, NBC News said.
