WILTON, Conn. A 20-year-old Bridgeport woman turned herself in to the Wilton Police Department on Monday in connection with thefts from the cash register at Swizzles Frozen Yogurt, where she was employed.
Ebony Peterson was charged with six thefts totaling between $1,000 and $1,200 from Swizzles , located on River Road.
Police said Peterson was caught on security video taking cash from the store register several times during October.
She was arraigned at Norwalk Superior Court and bond was set at $5,000.

- A 2001 Volvo station wagon skidded in snow Saturday on Scribner Hill Road, rolled over and landed on its roof. The driver, 22-year-old Aleksandra Szczypinska, and three children passenges, were not injured, but all four were taken to the hospital for examination. An infraction was issued to the car's owner, Neil Peterson, 43, for unsafe tires.
- A 17-year-old Wilton girl was charged with assault Thursday for punching her mother in the face during an argument in their car over school attendance.
- A woman was bitten in the face by a neighbors English bulldog Sunday on Huckleberry Hill Road. Animal Control is investigating. The dog is being quarantined at its home.
