Coastal towns like Fairfield, Darien and Stamford remain under a winter weather advisory, but warmer temperatures should keep snow accumulations down.

Towns further north, however, remain under a winter storm watch and could see snow accumulations of 4 inches or more before the storm moves on.

Snow will begin to taper off overnight with just a 20 percent chance of a snow shower on Thanksgiving morning.

Sunny skies will return on Friday with temperatures in the 30s.
