The parents, whose names were not included in the suit, said they notified Miller-Driscoll Principal Fred Rapczynski of their daughter's injuries in January 2013, but that Rapczynski failed to report it to the Department of Children and Families within 12 hours as mandated by state law, CTpost.com reported.

Eric Von Kohorn, 55, of Southport pleaded guilty in a plea bargain in October to charges of second-degree possession of child pornography. He was sentenced to six years in prison, suspended after two years, with another 10 years of probation.

During the sentencing, Von Kohorn’s lawyers said police did not substantiate sex assault allegations against him, the CTPost said.
