Graffiti Keeps Cops Busy

Wilton police are investigating graffiti scrawled on a bathroom wall in Merwin Meadows. It was found the morning of Aug. 12 and apparently had been applied the night before. Capt. John Lynch said police did not recognize any of the writer's tags or symbols. Police had broken up a party nearby on Lovers Lane the night before but did not know if the incidents were related. The police report said teens fled the party when officers arrived.

Lynch said police will check Merwin more often because this is not the first time graffiti has been found there this summer. Police are asking anyone who recognizes anything in the above photo to call (203) 834-6260.
