Heavy Rain, Storms Could Cause Flooding In Wilton

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Showers and thunderstorms could result in heavy rain and localized flash flooding in Fairfield County overnight Sunday into Monday.

Showers and a possible thunderstorm will become likely after 1 a.m. Monday with some of the storms producing heavy rainfall, damaging winds and rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch. Flooding is possible.

More showers and thunderstorms are likely during the day and through the evening Monday with another half to three-quarters inch of rainfall possible. Monday's high temperature will be around 75.
