Heavy Rainfall Clears Out Of Wilton By Friday

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Showers will linger in Fairfield County through the early afternoon on Thursday before skies begin to clear on Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

Showers will be likely between noon and 2 p.m. on Thursday with high temperatures in the low 70s. Chance of rain is near 100 percent. 

Friday will begin mostly cloudy, but will gradually clear to mostly sunny skies with a high of about 71 degrees, unseasonably warm for mid-October. 

Isolated showers could threaten the area on Saturday morning, but the day is expected to be mostly sunny with temperatures hitting the low 70s. The chance of morning showers is around 20 percent.
