Legal Costs Likely To Trim Wilton's Projected Savings

WILTON, CONN. -- Lawsuits, tax appeals, and other legal costs are expected to take a big bite out of Wilton’s expected fiscal savings, according to a report by WiltonBulletin.com.

According to the WiltonBulletin.com story, Anne Kelly-Lenz, the town’s chief financial officer, told the Board of Selectmen that anticipated $331,000 savings -- which she attributed to a decrease in employee benefit costs, among other things – would be reduced because of a projected $110,000 legal expenses.
