Chappell, known as "Kate," and a tour guide reportedly were traveling in a vehicle when a lioness charged the car and attacked her through a window that witnesses say was open, according to reports. The tour guide was injured in the incident and remains hospitalized. The lioness has been moved to another property and has not been euthanized.

Chappell, 29, was an Emmy award-winning video editor for the popular HBO series "Game of Thrones," according to a report by Eyewitness News. Chappell, who had been living in Vancouver the last two years, received a bachelor's degree in film from Hofstra University.
