Man Charged in Wilton CVS Thefts

WILTON, Conn. – After several thefts at the Wilton CVS, Wilton Police have charged a West Haven man with being a member of a group committing the crimes.

Louis Masselli. 36, was charged with larceny, fourth degree and conspiracy to commit larceny, fourth degree. According to Wilton Police, Masselli was a part of group that had been on a “shoplifting spree throughout the state” going to CVS and pharmacies taking mainly oral-hygiene products like Crest White Strips.

The CVS on Old Ridgefield Road was robbed twice, once in April when $902 in teeth whitening strips and Prilosec were stolen and a second time in May when $1,228.26 of several types of teeth-whitening strips were stolen.
