Metro-North Sees Rise In Crime Along The Rails

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Metro-North is seeing a spike in crime, especially when it comes to high-priced theft, according to LoHud.com.

Of the 107 felonies reported on the commuter rail through August, 52 of them involved the theft of items valued over $1,000. In many cases, the items were stolen when the owner left them unattended on the train, LoHud.com reported.
