Service has been fully restored on all Metro-North lines after crews worked diligently overnight to clear more than 100 trees from railways following Tuesday’s storm.
Metro-North officials announced that service on the Hudson, New Haven and Harlem Line between Southeast and Grand Central Terminal is operating on schedule as of 2 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.
Service between Southeast and Wassaic is scheduled to begin with the 3:43 train out of Grand Central and the 6:07 p.m. train out of Wassaic.
During the height of Tuesday’s storm - which brought wind gusts nearing 70 mph and heavy rains to the Hudson Valley - Metro-North was forced to suspend all service on every line as trees and power lines came down on tracks and power went out at Grand Central Station.
