WILTON, Conn. – The Wilton police are looking for two people suspected of stealing $902 in merchandise from the CVS Pharmacy on Old Ridgefield Road.

On Thursday, April 19, a man and a woman went into the CVS at about 10 p.m. and took Crest Whitening Strips and Prilosec, which is used to treat heartburn, police reported.

According to Deputy Chief Robert Crosby, police are unaware that the two products can be mixed to create anything. It’s possible, Crosby said, the products were next to each other.

According to the report, the two suspects returned to CVS at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 22. The same products had not yet been restocked, and they “left without taking anything.”

The suspects were driving a black four-door Acura, either a TSX or TL from about 2005 with no front plate, police said.

If anyone has information about the two suspects, they are asked to contact Officer Eva Zimnoch or Detective Pete Trahan at 203-834-6260.
