WILTON, Conn. - On Tuesday evening, Wilton officials announced that 4,073 -- 55 percent -- of Connecticut Light & Power customers are without power throughout Wilton.
Residents are reminded to stay clear of all downed power lines as they pose a significant electrocution hazard. Steady progress has been made throughout the day on restoring power to some areas. Outages reached a high of over 80 percent during the height of the storm.
Connecticut Light & Power will continue to clear roadway blockages and will restore power to areas as is possible.
