Severe Thunderstorm Warning For Fairfield County

FAIRIFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — A severe thunderstorm warning in now in effect for Fairfield County.

A storm capable of producing heavy rain and damaging wind gusts of more than 60 mph is likely to move through the region, the National Weather Service says. The warning is in effect until 7 p.m.

A tornado watch also is in effect until 9 p.m.
