Daily Voice reader Dan Gilbert sent these scenes from near his home in Weston on Tuesday after the overnight snowfall.

"I suspect we received 8 to 10 inches of snow," he said in an email. "The snow is a light powder. Perfect snow for skiing."

Many roads in Weston are still covered with snow at midday Tuesday as DPW crews continue to work, said Weston Police Chief John Troxell.

"Please use caution if you are on the roads today. Weston DPW crews will be managing the snow on the roads through the remainder of the storm," Troxell said. "Slippery conditions may still exist in some areas. Please be careful."
