A 39-year-old Wilton man was charged with passing a stopped school bus on Aug. 31. Police said Anthony Grandolfo of 97 Warnicke Road was arrested when he passed a school bus picking up children on Route 7 near Crowne Pond Road. The Wilton PD wants to remind motorists they must stop for buses when lights are flashing.

? Uei Lee of 31 Granite Drive in Wilton was charged with failure to grant the right of way following a motor vehicle accident Sept. 1. Lee was driving south on Route 7 when she tried to turn into the Wilton Family Y. Her car collided with a northbound vehicle driven by Jennifer Lapine, 65, of Stamford. Both reported injuries, but neither went to the hospital.
? James Gallaher, 39, of Seabright, N.J., was pulled over for speeding on Route 7 on Sept. 2. The arresting officer suspected Gallaher had been drinking and conducted field sobriety tests. Gallaher failed the tests and was charged with speeding and driving under the influence. He was released on $500 bond and is set to appear on Sept. 14.
