WILTON, Conn. A Norwalk teenager was charged with possession of marijuana and failure to appear by the Wilton Police Thursday after he was found on Wilton High School property.
Mykhaylo Kunytskiyy, 19, was picked up by security personnel in the woods behind the high school. When asked why he was on school property, the teen said he was waiting for two students, police said.
When police ran Kunytskiyy's information they discovered a warrant from Norwalk Police charging him with failing to appear in court on a larceny charge.
Wilton police charged Kunytskiyy with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia near a school, possession of marijuana, loitering in a school area and failure to appear. Police said the teen also had narcotic drugs that were not prescribed for him.
He was held on a $3,500 bond and is due in court on May 25.
