Thousands Still Without Power In Connecticut After Deadly Storm

Thousands of residents and businesses in Connecticut remain without power including nearly 11,000 in the Danbury area, one of the hardest hit when a line of storms ripped through the area on Tuesday.

Eversource officials said that across the state there are a total of 86,961 without power. 

In Fairfield County, the outages include: 

  • Danbury, 10,812
  • Newtown, 7,675
  • Brookfield 7,101
  • New Fairfield, 5,632
  • Ridgefield, 1,692
  • Bethel, 1,888
  • Redding, 1,689
  • New Fairfield, 5,630
  • Greenwich, 880
  • Stamford, 103
  • Darien, 30
  • Norwalk, 86
  • Redding, 45
  • New Canaan, 4
  • Wilton, 3
  • Easton, 2
