Town Parade: 10 a.m. to noon Remember your veterans Wilton, with the annual Memorial Day parade as they march down River Road up to Hillside Cemetery. So take up your favorite spot and cheer on the veterans and marchers.

Tuesday, May 29

Grade Three Orientation: 7–9 p.m. Parents of soon-to-be third-graders at Cider Mill Elementary School are invited to an orientation. From 7-7:30 p.m., there is a special meeting for special needs students. Cider Mill Elementary School, 240 School Road, Witon.

Author Talk from Cronkite: 7-8:30 p.m. Douglas Brinkley presents the definitive, revealing biography of an American legend and renowned news anchor Walter Cronkite, which was released May 29. Brinkley is a professor of history at Rice University and a contributing editor at Vanity Fair. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road, Wilton.
