WILTON, Conn. Voting on the Wilton 2013 town budget continues all day Saturday, the library is hosting two author talks and the giant Minks to Sinks sale is under way. Here is whats happening in Wilton the weekend of May 4 to 6:
Wilton Library 9:30 to 11 a.m.: Michael Crystal will present a seminar on the generations in the workplace, which dont exist just in the workplace but in every aspect of our lives. Registration essential. Cost is $10, payable at the door.
Voting at Wilton High School Clune Center 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.: The polls will be open all day for residents to go out and vote on the towns 2013 budget.
Giant sale at Danbury Road and School Road 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Its the first full day of the annual Minks to Sinks tag sale. It's happening at the tennis courts by Wilton High School.
Wilton Library author talk 2 to 3 p.m.: Childrens author Deborah Freedman will be showing off her books to the children at the library and also do some drawing for them.
Wilton Library concert 7:30 to 9 p.m.: Wilton resident Arthur Lipner will with his band, Brasilian Vibes. After the concert, there will be a reception.
Woodcock Nature Center 8:30 to 10 a.m.: The fourth annual 5K "Where the Wild Things Run is for the whole family. All are welcome to participate.
Giant sale at Danbury Road and School Road noon 4 p.m.: Head over to the tennis courts and take part in half-price day at Minks to Sinks.
Weir Farm 2 to 3 p.m.: Weir Farms 2012 Visiting Artist, Xiomaro, will discuss his experiences photographing the Weir House, Weir Studio and Young Studio.
Wilton Library author talk - 3:30 to 5 p.m.: Author David Park will talk about Kayaking In and Around the Norwalk Islands, his local niche guidebook.
