WILTON, Conn. – Which streets in Wilton could use repairs to sidewalks or installation of new walkways?

The Wilton Daily Voice readers offered their thoughts on where sidewalk work is necessary on the site's Facebook page.

For reader Lisa Milano Schneider, sidewalks would be ideal along Belden Hill Road.

“A sidewalk down Belden Hill Road would be fantastic!!!,” she said, though she wondered if there were any sidewalks elsewhere besides River Road and Danbury Road that would be candidates for repairs.

Fernanda Prado suggested Catalpa and Warncke roads could use work because residents walk or jog along them.

“They are great!!!” Prado said.

Ashley Flood was all encompassing in her request.

“It’d be awesome if ALL streets had sidewalks for joggers/walkers,” she said.

Town Public Works Director Tom Thurkettle could not be reached for comment Wednesday to discuss what sidewalk projects are in the works.
