The Historical Christmas Barn is a treasure chest of holiday decorations not just for Christmas, but for Easter too.
The objects are full of color, sparkle and holiday spirit, and the Easter trees adorned with Patricia Breen ornaments would make any room or table pop.
"They are so popular," said Jennifer Bean, owner of the store. "They are absolutely beautiful." The ornaments range in price from $30 to over $200.
Bean even has gifts that will grow on you. Her Original All-Natural Easter Grass-Kit is a pouch containing a pod of peat moss and seeds. Soak the seeds overnight, sprinkle them over the peat moss and real grass will await the Easter bunny inside your home.
Bean is the brainchild behind the Easter Grass-Kit, and her sister has guided production and marketing of the product. Bean said the grass usually takes seven to 10 days to grow but that this year the seeds seem to be germinating faster. If the kit is purchased Wednesday and the seeds soak overnight, the grass will be ready by Sunday, she said.
The store is bursting with all types of festive merchandise.
"To me it is about enhancing your home and bringing spring into it," said Bean. "The decorations should just make you happy."
