WILTON, Conn. -- Trackside Teen Center in Wilton will need to tighten its purse strings for the next fiscal year after First Selectman Lynne Vanderslice said she is reconsidering the $154,000 the town appropriated for the center's operating expenses next year, according to the Wilton Bulletin.
The center is a popular spot for teens that features gaming tournaments, dances, and other teen-related events. The center also makes money by renting space for corporate and special events, said the Wilton Bulletin.
Vanderslice said during a May 16 meeting that she is considering the cutbacks because the city will be facing a more difficult budget season next year, added the Wilton Bulletin.
