Bonnie Benedetti Fuse’, 72, Operated The Rose Garden In Wilton

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Bonnie Benedetti Fuse' of Fairfield died Friday, Jan. 31. She was 72.

Fuse’ was born Dec. 4, 1941, in Bridgeport; daughter of James and Louise (Delvecchio) Benedetti. She was a lifelong resident of Fairfield and graduated from Andrew Warde High School in 1959. She was a co-founder of Fairfield Lighting & Design, a realtor, and established and operated the Rose Garden, a floral design and retail shop in Wilton until her retirement in 2011. She was a member of Patterson Country Club, in Fairfield.

Fuse’ is survived by her husband, Joseph; children, James Zemola (Christine) of Fairfield, Sandra Zemola of Stratford, Gary Zemola of Newtown, Sharon Lynn Zemola of Milford, Joseph G. Fuse' (Sheila) of Anna Maria Island, Fla., Christopher Fuse' (Megan) of Hopkinton, Mass.; five grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Covert of Del Ray, Fla., Patricia Graham of Austin, Ark.; brother-in-law, Dennis Fuse' of Cabet, Vt.; several nieces, nephews; and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; and sister, Nancy Kells-Murphy.

Calling hours are Monday, Feb. 3 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. Funeral services will take place Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Dr. Duane Kellogg, Jr. officiating. Her interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery.
