WILTON, Conn. - Charlotte Frances Ventrella, a longtime resident of Wilton, died Sunday, Sept. 7. She was 86.
Ventrella was born in Norwalk, to Charles and Sarah (Hendricks) Clarke. A graduate of Norwalk High School, Class of 1945, and the Nurse Cadet Corps at Norwalk Hospital. She worked as an R.N. at Norwalk Hospital, Lea Manor and Notre Dame Convalescent Home. She was married to Peter Ventrella.
Ventrella is survived by her son, Richard of Norwalk; daughter, Jill Ely of Wilton; and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Sept. 10, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11 at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery.
