Colleen McMahon-Passero, 59, Wilton Resident

WILTON, Conn. -- Colleen M. McMahon-Passero -- a Wilton resident, formerly of New Canaan -- died on Sunday, Feb. 28. She was 59.

Born in Yonkers, New York, McMahon-Passero attended Saint Mary's Elementary and Commerce High School. She had a successful career as a VP of Lillian Vernon. She retired to devote her time to what mattered most to her, her husband and children.

McMahon-Passero is survived by her husband, Dr. Marino Passero; children Rick and Nicole Passero; father John McMahon and his wife Sharon McMahon; sisters Doreen Chiulli, Kathleen Knuth and Tara Reuter; brothers-in-law Anthony Chiulli, Steven Liptak and Joe Reuter; six nephews; and 11 great-nieces and -nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother, Ruth Baran McMahon, and her brothers, Dennis and John.

Visiting hours will be from 9-11 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, at Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St., in New Canaan, followed by mass at St. Aloysius Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, by clicking here.
