DANBURY/WILTON, Conn. - Frank E. Davidson, of Danbury and Wilton, died Nov. 6. He was 40.

Davidson was raised by his grandparents, Don and Barbara Davidson. He was an independent cabinetmaker who worked primarily in Connecticut and Massachusetts. He graduated from Wilton High School in 1993. After two years at the University of New Hampshire business school, he joined his family's interior design and cabinetmaking business. Several years later he launched his own shop, Davidson Woodworking: Fine Custom Cabinetry.

Davidson is survived by his grandparents; brother, Chris Davidson of Georgetown; aunt, Karen Davidson (Peter Seward) of Lake Placid, N.Y.; and great aunt and uncle, Jim and Phyllis Ingwersen of Sister Bay, Wisconsin. He was predeceased by his mother.

A celebration of Frank's life will be held at 1 p.m. Nov. 22 at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 36 New Canaan Road, Wilton.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Matthews Episcopal Church Memorial Fund for a permanent remembrance that will be created in Frank's memory.
