WILTON, Conn. – Jean P. Jacobson, 80, of Wilton, died Monday, Jan. 12.
Born July 28, 1934, in London, she was a daughter of Reginald and Kate Clack Harris.
Jacobson worked in New York City as a personal assistant to Academy Award-winning filmmaker Jerome Hill. She also served for many years as an officer in the Daughters of the British Empire.
Survivors include her husband, David; two daughters, Susannah (Lee) Gobbi of Easton and Victoria (Steven) Barr of Aztec, N.M.; one son, Mark H. Jacobson of New York City; one sister-in-law, Gladys Jacobson of West Palm Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Malcolm Harris, and a sister, Anne Harris.
Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, Trumbull, is handling the funeral arrangements, which will be announced at a later date.
