WILTON, Conn. - John Phillips Boyd of Wilton died Friday, Dec. 27. He was 73.
Boyd was born June 19, 1940, son of Harry and Mary P. Boyd of Norwalk. A longtime Wilton resident. He was a 1958 graduate of Norwalk High School and had worked for Boyd Brothers Artesian Well Drilling in Norwalk for over 30 years.
Boyd is survived by his daughters, Robin B. McCabe of Newtown and Sharon B. Vento of Weston; a grandson; and brother, Harry S. Boyd of Wilton. He was predeceased by his wife, MaryEllen C. Boyd; and sister, Judith B. Kapostas.
There will be a private memorial at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Wildlife in Crisis Center in Weston or Animals in Distress, Wilton.
