Maxine P. Hurlbut, 92, Retired Cashier Of Wilton

WILTON, Conn. -- Maxine P. Hurlbut of Wilton died on Saturday, March 2 at Norwalk Hospital. She was 92.

Hurlbut was born in Lisbon, N.H., daughter of the late Walter and Lena (Cotnoir) Pelletier. She worked for several years as a hairdresser and more recently as a cashier at the Village Market in Wilton.  She retired in 1985 after 18 years of service. She was a member of the Hurlbut Street School House and the South Norwalk Boat Club Auxiliary.

She was predeceased by her husband, Everett.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6 at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk, with burial to follow at Hillside Cemetery, Wilton.
