WILTON, Conn. – Robert Gresl, 86, a resident of Wilton since 1979, died on Tuesday, Jan. 27.
Born in Queens, N.Y., on Aug. 10, 1928, Gresl was the son of the late Charles and Madeline Yusna Gresl.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a mechanical engineer and member of the Lifetime Learners Institute and National Society of Professional Engineers.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Heluk Gresl; a daughter Joyce Dolan of Kennett Square, Pa.; a son Robert Randall Gresl of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a brother, Charles Gresl of San Francisco, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk. Graveside services with full military honors will take place Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Riverside Cemetery, Riverside Avenue, Norwalk, Conn.
