Terrence M. Lallak, 73, Of Wilton

WILTON, Conn. – Terrence M. Lallak, of Wilton, died on Sunday, June 14. He was 73.

Lallak was born in Fort Wayne, Ind., to Frank and Irene Becker Lallak.

He graduated from Fort Wayne Central Catholic High School and Purdue University.

He worked as an architect for Bjarke Ingels Group, Perkins & Will, VOA, and Cannon Design in Chicago and New York City.

Lallak was a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), serving as an officer and committee chair of both the Chicago and New York City chapters.

He also was an active parishioner at St. Paul's Episcopal Church as a liturgical assistant and lay Eucharistic minister.

He is survived by his wife, Susan E. Tom, his children, Mark C. Lallak, Sr. and his wife, Laurie of South Natick, Mass., and Jennifer Lallak Meyer and her husband, Stewart of Cary, Ill., his grandchildren, Mark C. Lallak, Jr.. of South Natick and Madison Meyer of Cary; and brother-in-law, Paul R. Tom of Tulsa, Okla.

Lallak was predeceased a brother, the Rev. F. Thomas Lallak.

Visiting hours will be on Friday, June 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road in Fairfield Center.

Funeral services will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 661 Old Post Road in Fairfield.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
