Arney was born in Richmond, Mo.,, to Thomas B., Sr. and Carolyn Dailey Arney of Carolina Shores, N.C., formerly of Wilton. He attended Wilton Schools and was a 1981 graduate of Kents Hill Academy in Augusta, Maine. He attended Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, N.H. He had been a Danbury resident for the past 30 years.
Arney is survived by his parents; sister, Teresa Sindel of Ridgefield; niece, Samantha Sindel of Redding; and nephew, Sean Sindel of Redding.
There will be no calling hours. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
