Police say the boy— whose name has not been released due to his age— continually harassed the girl in person and electronically, asking her to perform “acts of a sexual nature.” The suspect is further accused of threatening the girl if she refused, according to the police report.
The victim reported the harassment to a school counselor in October, prompting both a police and school investigation, police said.
The boy was charged with second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct, misdemeanors. After his arrest, he appeared at juvenile court in Stamford, where a judge ordered he be remanded to the custody of the state juvenile detention center in Bridgeport.
