Auto Accident In Ridgefield Leaves Boat Sitting In Middle Of Route 7

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- A multi-car accident that closed Cains Hill Road in Ridgefield on Thursday for a couple of hours, left a 23-foot Boston Whaler sitting in the middle of Route 7, according to WLAD.com.

The boat ended up in the roadway after the car that was towing it was involved in the accident that occurred when the driver of a northbound car turned left onto Cains Hill road, striking a southbound vehicle, said WLAD.com.

The unidentified northbound driver was taken to Danbury Hospital for evaluation and released. No other injuries were reported, added WLAD.com.
