The Danbury Police Department's Special Investigations Division and Community Conditions Unit executed search and seizure warrants on Wednesday for the 25-year-old Jeremy Colon's person and the gray Honda he commonly drives, police said. The warrants were the result of an investigation that began weeks earlier in response to complaints that Colon, a Bethel resident, was selling drugs in various locations in Danbury, police said. Based on surveillance of Colon, his activity was consistent with drug trafficking, police said.
Colon had been the focus of another investigation during the month of June, which resulted in his arrest on several drug charges.

Officers conducted surveillance of the parking lot on Shelter Rock Road on Wednesday, a location where Colon frequents and is suspect of selling drugs from, police said. Investigators saw him selling drugs to another man, at which point they moved in and executed their warrants, according to police.
Colon was found to be in possession of controlled substances, and was placed under arrest, police said. A third male, who police said was connected to Colon, was also stopped in the parking lot and found to be in possession of controlled substances. While he was not arrested, he was issued infractions for possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Colon was taken to the Danbury Police Department, where he was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held on a $25,000 bond.
