Bridgeport Driver, Child Injured In Crash On I-95 In Stratford

STRATFORD, Conn. — Two Bridgeport residents — including a 6-year-old child — were cut of their vehicle and sent to the hospital after a crash at 8:30 p.m. Sunday on northbound I-95 near Exit 30 in Stratford, according to the Connecticut Post. 

Connecticut State Police reported that two Bridgeport residents were injured in an accident on Interstate 95 north in Stratford on Sunday when the driver lost control of the car.

The crash closed the northbound lanes of I-95 for about an hour, the Post said. 

The driver lost control of her car and crossed three lanes of traffic before hitting the rear of another car driven by a Fairfield man, who was not injured, the ctpost.com reported.

The accident remains under investigation, State Police told the Post.
