Eric Cruz-Lopez was arrested May 7 by UConn police and charged with 103 counts of third-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, according to the Journal Inquirer.

Some of the graffiti said “[Expletive] Trump,” and some had a cartoon face with the same words in a bubble, according to the Journal Inquirer.

Cruz-Lopez, who was last enrolled at UConn in the fall, took part in campus rallies to protest Trump's election, the J-I said.

He has identified himself as the organizer of Connecticut Students for a Dream and has said he is an undocumented student from Mexico, the Journal Inquirer said.
