Tynisha Hall, 35, was arraigned Friday in Superior Court on charges of murder, tampering with evidence and interfering with police. At the hearing, her bond was reduced from $750,000 to $500,000, the Post said.

Hall, a licensed nursing assistant, was the caretaker for Robert Jones, 61.

At about 3:30 p.m. Feb. 8, an ambulance was dispatched to 304 Dover St. in Bridgeport, a home rented by Hall's family, the Connecticut Post said.

Jones had been dead for some time, but Hall insisted he be taken to Bridgeport Hospital, where doctors found cuts and scratches on his face and burns on his lower extremities, the Connecticut Post said.

She said that Jones had been cold and unresponsive at about noon and that she had put a lit cigarette in his hands, the Post said.

Jones also had one large and one small cut on the back of his head, although no blood had been found in the home, the Post said.

During a police search of the home Feb. 11, police sprayed a re-agent and found a blood splatter pattern from the floor to the ceiling in the bathroom, the Connecticut Post said.
