Crash In Wilton Sends Two To The Hospital

WILTON, Conn. — A Canadian man and a Florida man were sent to the hospital after their car was rear-ended by an 82-year-old Newtown driver in Wilton last week.

The accident took place at around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at the intersection of Danbury Road and Old Mill Road in Wilton. A 44-year-old driver from Ontario, Canada told officers that he was rear-ended by the Newtown driver.

Both the Ontario man and his passenger, a 65-year-old man from Florida, were taken to the hospital for minor injuries they sustained in the accident. The 82-year-old Newtown woman was issued an infraction for following too closely.
