WILTON, Conn. — An 92-year-old man and an 88-year-old woman were injured in a crash on Tuesday in Wilton when their car was hit by another car and flipped over, according to the Hour.
The married couple were turning from Millstone Road to Ridgefield Road when they were hit in the side by a Jeep driven by a Ridgefield man, police told the Hour. Their car flipped until it came to a rest on its side, trapping the two inside, the Hour reported.
Firefighters and police cut the roof off the car to free the couple, who were taken to Norwalk Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to the Hour. The Ridgefield man was also slightly injured, but did not require hospitalization, according to the Hour.
The 92-year-old man was issued a citation for failure to grant right of way, the Hour reported.
