Stafford Angus, 19, was charged with second-degree larceny, first-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, third-degree burglary and third-degree larceny. His bond was set at $50,000 and he has a court date of Dec. 7.

Westport Police said a vehicle stolen from a Silver Brook Road residence on Feb. 24 was recovered in Waterbury on March 10.

Westport Police were able to "lift" prints from the ice tea found in the stolen car after it was found, and police determined they belonged to Angus. Angus told police he was involved with the theft and also stated that on the night the vehicle was stolen, he and two accomplices entered several unlocked cars in the Silverbrook Road Bonnie Brook Road area and stole various items.

Angus was taken into custody by the Waterbury Police Department on Tuesday and turned over to Westport Police.
